Ultrasound Therapy Ultrasound Therapy is a treatment modality used by Chiropractors to treat pain and to promote tissue healing. While ultrasound therapy is effective for most chronic pain conditions, it may help reduce your pain if you have osteoarthritis, myofascial pain, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, pain caused by scar tissue, sprains/strains and many more conditions.
Acupuncture Acupuncture treatment works with the energy of the body or qi by treating certain points, which is related to illness. The qi flow channels also referred to as meridians and are like flowing rivers throughout the body to nourish and irrigate the body. Needles are used at a certain acupuncture points initiating the body’s affected organ to rectify the problem.	Electric Stimulation Electrical stimulation uses an electrical current to cause a single muscle or a group of muscles to contract. By placing electrodes on the skin in various locations, Dr. Mazzo can recruit the appropriate muscle fibers. Contracting the muscle via electrical stimulation helps strengthen the affected muscle. Dr. Mazzo can change the current setting to allow for a forceful or gentle muscle contraction.	Cold Laser Therapy Cold laser therapy is a treatment that uses low intensity or low level laser light to treat many types of pain, inflammation and healing of wounds. In addition, cold laser is sometimes used bu acupuncturists, using laser beams to stimulate the body’s acupoints rather than needles.
